Would I get a better deal if I went through a dealer?
No, the same contract hire rates are available from Saab Contract Hire, through a dealer or direct.

If I order more than one vehicle, will I receive a greater discount? If you are considering ordering a number of vehicles at the same time, we would be keen to discuss a bespoke package with you.

Can I part exchange my current vehicle?
Technically, no, because the new vehicle is supplied to you under a contract hire agreement and the invoice is to Saab Contract Hire.

However, your supplying dealer may be able to purchase your existing vehicle, for cash, as a separate transaction.

Is VAT included?
All contract hire rentals are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate (please check you quotation to confirm whether it is VAT inclusive or not).

No, Saab Contract Hire agreements are available to both VAT registered companies and private individuals alike (subject to credit acceptance).

However, where the agreement is with a VAT registered business, generally a proportion of the VAT element can be recovered.

What is the difference between Standard and Personal Contract Hire?
With Saab Contract Hire there is no difference, other than the fact that where the agreement is with a non VAT registered individual, the individual will be unable to recover any VAT.

Can I change my mileage during my contract?
Yes, it is possible to adjust the contract mileage during the life of the agreement (to “re-schedule” the agreement), provided the contract has run for at least six months and has at least a further six months to run.

Do I have the option to purchase the vehicle at the end of the contract?
The vehicle can be sold to a driver (who is third party to the agreement) but can not be sold to the hirer “lessee” under current Inland Revenue rules.

Can I extend my contract terms?
Yes, it is generally possible to extend a contract subject to projected total mileage and credit history.

Is it possible to terminate the agreement at any time during the contract?
Yes, it is possible to terminate the contract at any point but there are associated charges as outlined in the terms & conditions.

If I order my new car direct through Saab Contract Hire, can I still deal with my local dealer?
Yes, all cars are supplied by your local or nominated dealer.
